The studied soil profile is located in the <strong data-start=\"1313\" data-end=\"1347\">Rio do Peixe Sedimentary Basin<\/strong>, in the state of Para\u00edba (Brazil), and was analyzed based on grain size distribution, micromorphological features, weathering indices, and OSL ages across different horizons.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1524\" data-end=\"1888\">The results indicate that part of the dated material shows no signs of sedimentation, suggesting that it was internally mobilized within the profile, reflecting mixing processes typical of Vertisols.
