Paulo C. Zangalli Jr is a professor. He is dedicated to researching the relationship between climate and society from a critical perspective. Trained in Climate Geography at UNESP in Presidente Prudente, he began to reflect on the incorporation of climate issues by capital, which resulted in research into climate capitalism and the geopolitics of climate change as a new space for the reproduction of capital. In 2017 she moved to Salvador - BA and teaches climatology at the Federal University of Bahia. Faced with the complexity and contradictions imposed by the city, he began to think about climate as an important geographical phenomenon in the production of urban space, based on mass landslides, segregation and the socio-spatial vulnerability to which different social classes are exposed.
